Philippe Builders were sensitive to all of our concerns, needs and requests. Their skilled work, interaction with us and personal attention was beyond our expectations. They gave us regular updates, demonstrated products and even took us to the granite store to choose our color, and style of granite.

Your staff has gone out of their way to make sure our home is exactly the way we want it! The support started the first time we stepped into the models where we were told about the different models along with the company history and continued on from there throughout our selection process. Someone once asked me why we moved to our townhouse in Coffee Creek. There were a lot of good reasons. First, to get our living primarily on one floor, with elegant guest accommodations upstairs, and mega storage and expansion potential in the large, dry basement. Second, to enjoy the warmth and hospitality of the kind of town that we all wish we grew up in, with a gazebo in the town square, and its patriotic band concerts in the pavilion on 9-11. But you can’t appreciate what quality construction and conscience maintenance means until you get older, and cannot do all the things that you used to be able to do. Watching the automatic sprinklers go on, and the lawn crew come and manicure the landscaping every week is tonic to this once avid gardener.

While sitting on our shaded deck, I was struck all over again by the beauty of this Coffee Creek area. During the day, you can see the deer, the turkeys, and watch the hawks and herons fly by. At night with the gentle breezes, you can see the fire-flies and hear the frogs calling to each other. All the while enjoying a wide variety of beautiful birds that stop by our feeder.

The people we have for neighbors are one of the greatest assets to living here. If you could price the housing by the quality of the neighbors, you couldn’t afford to live here! I know the housing market is bad, but one of the smartest things we ever did was to move here, and I don’t understand why others like us aren’t standing in line for the opportunity to live here. The building of the new Porter Hospital, practically on our doorstep, is a comfort to me and would be to any resident.

So that is my “love letter” to Coffee Creek, Phillippe Builders, and the town of Chesterton. You have welcomed me, and I am returning your affection.” Lynne P.

I have a very warm spot in my heart for Bob and the entire Phillippe group. It has been over 12 years since Bob built my current house and I have been a big promoter of Bob Phillippe to anyone that would listen. When long-term illness needs required a move from our home of 20 years, we contacted Phillippe Builders. The friend who referred us to Bob Phillippe said that the process would be easy, stress-free and fun. Indeed it was.
